Tacos (30 Minutes)

This is an easy one for Taco Tuesday folks.  Just regular old soft shell tacos.

Ingredients:

Flour Tortillas (forgot to include in picture)
2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Onion
2 Green Bell Peppers
Taco Seasoning
Minced Garlic
Crushed Pepper
Shredded Lettuce
Shredded Cheese

Optional:

Sour Cream
Salsa

Chop up green bell peppers and onion.  Place in a frying pan on medium high heat.  Add two spoonfuls of minced garlic.  Stir occasionally.  While those items are cooking, brown the beef in another pan.  Once meat is brown, pour in the taco seasoning and mix.

Once taco seasoning and meat has been mixed together, sprinkle some crushed peppers on the vegetables.  Stir for a little bit, then pour the meat into the same pan as the vegetables.  Stir until everything is mixed together.

You now have a delicious filling for your tacos.  Add chopped salad, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa for the final touch and serve.  Served with corn and black beans.  I love Taco Tuesday and so does the family.  This quick meal before cheerleading made dinner was easy and made everyone happy.  Even my youngest daughter said, “Yeah, Tacos!  I love Taco Tuesday.”  Enjoy!
