Ghost and Pumpkin Marshmallows

Last night we had our Boo Bash 2016.  Here is one of the treats I made for the party.  Very simple to make.  There are lots of Monsters you can make with Marshmallows, but I wasn’t adventurous enough to attempt making the other monsters.  Plus with everything else needed to be made, it was just easier to stick with these two easy ones.

Lollipop Sticks
Miniature M&Ms
Orange Candy Melts
Black Gel or Black Food Marker (I ended up using a food market instead)

Insert lollipop stick through bottom of marshmallow, then draw 2 eyes and a mouth to make the Ghost.  I used a arts and craft foam bast to hold the pops.  This one is very easy and you can make multiple faces if you want.

Next melt the orange melts.  I couldn’t figure out how to make the chocolate melt enough to just dip the marshmallows in.  If you know how to do this, then it will be much quicker.  I ended up having to use a spatula and spread the melt on sort of like cake icing.  Insert lollipop stick through bottom of marshmallow, cover in orange melt, break part of a pretzel off for the stem and stick in the top, then cut a miniature green M&M in half for the leaf.  The Pumpkins you can easily turn into Jack-O-Lanterns by drawing on a face with marker after chocolate cools.

Place in holder display and serve.  The Pumpkins were a bigger hit with the kids than the ghosts.  I think it was because of the chocolate.  Enjoy!
